This week I started working back at a company I was working at up until the end of December last year. 4 times I was asked if I had brought cakes in with me. I think I may have created a bit of a reputation for myself while I was working at the company. That's not a bad thing, I can think of worse things to be remembered for. I think it's also safe to say that I enjoy baking and sharing those baked goods with friends.
A friend of mine was getting married in January and I offered to make some cupcakes for their cake a drinks reception. Well I got a little excited about what I could make and how good it could all look at the wedding, that I got a carried away and made a bit more than just cup cakes.
Well I have to say that it did look good, I enjoyed the process of making everything and it was all happily received at the wedding. Below I have listed what I made and also added photos to show you what it looked like on the day.
There's a say my friend and I have, which is:
"No one goes hungry on our watch"
And no one did go hungry!
