This is another recipe taken from Paul Hollywood's How to Bake recipe book. I needed something quick, easy and yummy to take to a friends house and these did the job.
I love the cherry and chocolate combination, so this had to be the next recipe I would try.
I did struggle to find the morello cherries in the supermarket and almost had to use glacé cherries. I eventually found them hidden in the tinned fruit section. I'm sure the recipe could have worked with the glacé cherries, but the moistness of the morello cherries worked really well here.
I would suggest making these a day earlier as the favour was much nicer the following day. They were very easy to make and I will definitely make them again.
