Paul Hollywood's Cherry and Dark Chocolate Muffins


This is another recipe taken from Paul Hollywood's How to Bake recipe book. I needed something quick, easy and yummy to take to a friends house and these did the job.



I love the cherry and chocolate combination, so this had to be the next recipe I would try.

I did struggle to find the morello cherries in the supermarket and almost had to use glacĂ© cherries. I eventually found them hidden in the tinned fruit section. I'm sure the recipe could have worked with the glacĂ© cherries, but the moistness of the morello cherries worked really well here.

I would suggest making these a day earlier as the favour was much nicer the following day. They were very easy to make and I will definitely make them again.
