Classy Bedroom Upgrades

If there’s one room we all love the idea of upgrading, it’s the bedroom. But if there’s one room that we all leave until the very last minute to upgrade, it’s the bedroom. However, if you know your time has come to upgrade your bedroom a little bit, why not make it classy. Classy never seems to reach the bedroom, but there’s no reason why it shouldn’t do. We spend most of our time in there, and we love to feel comfortable and happy in the room. Adding that little bit of class into the mix helps to spice things up a little, and that’s exactly what we want to do for you today. Have a read of the tips we’ve got below for you, and add a bit of class to your bedroom.

Classy Decor

You might think that classy decor is only for perhaps the living room or the dining room. Or in fact, for houses that are completely different to yours! But, the bedroom is the best place to go classy with decor, and it’s not that hard to achieve. First of all, think of the decor you have at the minute. Do you use paint, or do you use wallpaper? If you use paint, it’s time to switch over to wallpaper, as there’s such a wider variety of choice there for you. With wallpaper, the only thing you need to decide on is the colour. For a lot of people, they’re choosing the dark grey or beige colours. They’re so much more elegant and classy compared to something bright. If you go for a grey, you can get one with silver swirl patterns on it, which does give it that classy edge that paint just can’t give. Generally, if you stick to your neutral tones, it’s not going to be hard to achieve that classy look. You can then have the carpet and bedding to match. Fluffy grey carpet is really in right now, and it’ll go great with the colour that you’ve chose for the walls. The bedding can follow suit, with either a white or black cover, and preferably in a classy material such as silk.

Classy Accessories

Classy accessories are actually not that hard to get your hands on. You just need to make sure you’re picking items that match the theme of the rest of your room. For example, think of things such as velvet cushions, a chandelier style lighting fixture, and woodwick candles dotted around the room. You could even think about getting a smart cushioned chair for the corner of your room, and have a fluffy throw to decorate it. It’s somewhere different for you to sit if you’re either working from your room, or reading perhaps.

As for anything else you might like to add into your room, all we would advise is that you keep it minimal. Being classy doesn’t mean going overboard, or clogging up your bedroom with random artifacts. It’s about the small statements that can do a lot for your bedroom.
