Well, you can actually eat as much dessert as you want, especially if you've baked your own desserts, and it only has the right amount of sugar.   1. No-Bake Cookies: What's better than baking cookies? It's that you don't need to bake them as no-bake cookies would just involve you mixing some no-bake cookie ingredients. Then just add some peanut butter and oats, then chill them in the fridge. The nuts would make it extra chewy and give you a healthy mix of fiber, minerals, fat, and protein.

  2. Vegan Chocolate Cake: Vegan cakes are almost everywhere these days, but the joys of baking your own cake could also be therapeutic. You just need to substitute the dairy products with vegan butter, and that's it. You can enjoy it with some strawberries on top to give you a mix of sweetness with a bit of juicy acidity.

  3. Vegan Chocolate Mousse: To make chocolate mousse vegan and healthier, you can whip avocado, chocolate and add some coconut cream. This combination would satisfy your chocolate mousse cravings and even give the right amount of monounsaturated fats from the avocado. It only takes a few minutes to make.

  4. Vegan Banana Bread: The COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing lockdowns have turned everyone into a baker as almost everybody started baking banana bread as the most baked pastry. Of course, it's a perfect choice as banana breads are healthy and easy to make. Making it would also give a reason not to throw out any of your overripe bananas, as they would be perfect for making banana bread more delicious.

  5. Vegan Brownies: If you're thinking of what you can use instead of butter, almond butter is the perfect alternative to making brownies at home. Just add a little bit of coconut oil and brown rice flour to make your recipe completely vegan and healthy. This combination of ingredients will give you a healthy level of cholesterol, fiber, and proteins.

Of course, if you're not vegan, you can still try these healthier recipes at home now and then. It's as good as the kinds of desserts you've been used to, and your kids wouldn't even be able to tell the difference. You can also be sure that what you're eating after every meal is healthier without any animal products in them.
